These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of becomeappointed.com (the “Site”), operated by The Member Network LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What This Site Is (and Is Not)

The Site is a directory for insurance professionals. It lists carrier and program appointment opportunities and third-party products and services, and links you to them. We are not an insurance carrier and do not issue policies, bind coverage, or grant appointments. For appointment opportunities, you sign up as a sub-producer through Baker Insurance and Bonds LLC (“BIB”), which holds the carrier or program or other contract. BIB and/or the carriers and/or program managers review your information for eligibility. Commission terms are set out in your producer agreement with BIB. You are responsible for holding the licenses required in your state.

2. No Insurance, Legal, or Financial Advice

Content on the Site is general information only. It is not insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice. Program descriptions are summaries; each carrier's or vendor's own agreement and terms control.

3. Third-Party Products, Services, and Links

Listings link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, pricing, availability, or practices. Any purchase, application, or agreement you make is solely between you and that third party. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee.

4. Affiliate Relationships

Some links are affiliate or referral links, and we may earn a commission or referral fee if you sign up or buy. This does not change your price. See our Disclaimer.

5. Forms and Communications

Information you submit must be accurate, and you must be at least 18 years old. By joining our newsletter or the Insurance Cruise interest list, you agree to receive those emails; you can unsubscribe at any time. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Do not submit false information or someone else's information without authorization;
• Do not probe, scan, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Site;
• Do not scrape the Site with bots or automated tools, other than standard search indexing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site's content and design are owned by The Member Network LLC or its licensors. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY APPOINTMENT, PRODUCT, OR SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU OR THAT LISTING INFORMATION IS CURRENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MEMBER NETWORK LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY CARRIER, VENDOR, OR SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Member Network LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date.
