Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
The Member Network LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates becomeappointed.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you request an appointment, join our newsletter, join the Insurance Cruise interest list, contact us, or request a vendor listing, we collect what you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, state, agency or company name, and your message.
Information collected automatically. We may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, the page you came from, and similar analytics data through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, license numbers, or payment-card numbers on this Site.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your message or listing request;
- To send the newsletter or Insurance Cruise updates you asked for;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including understanding what visitors search for;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it:
- With service providers that work for us, such as hosting, email delivery, newsletter, and analytics providers;
- With Baker Insurance and Bonds LLC (“BIB”), if you request a carrier or program appointment, so BIB can process your producer agreement and appointment and send you producer updates;
- With the Insurance Cruise organizers, if you join the cruise interest list;
- As required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
When you click a vendor or carrier link, you leave our Site. Anything you submit on that vendor's or carrier's site (including appointment applications) is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
4. Email
If you subscribe, we will email you. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not send automated calls or text messages from this Site.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics, including Google Analytics. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you click a link to their site, so they can credit the referral. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe and then retained only as needed to honor that request.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of other states (such as Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut) may have similar rights. We do not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, use our contact form.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is for insurance professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site links to carrier, vendor, and partner sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
